Ethnic & Mining Museum

Housed in the J.C. Penney Building on Magna’s Main Street, The Magna Ethnic and Mining Museum showcases artifacts collected from the heyday of the mining industry and serves to preserve the rich history of those who fashioned this economy through mining. It is a place where tourists can visit and sneak a glimpse into our amazing history. Additionally, the Museum provides an environment to enhance learning about our culture, customs, and histories that grew from the diverse ethnic groups who built this area.

There’s alot of great old pictures, artifacts from Kennecott, memorbilla from Italy and Greece, and family history wall panels of prominate families here in Magna, and much, much more. New restrooms and a water fountain have been installed this spring.

Become a contributor of the museum for the yearly annual membership of $25.00. This will enable you to display your own family history panel.

Hours:
Tuesday – Friday 11:00 am-3:00 pm
Wednesday until 7:00 pm.
